Moved my picture blog to Wordpress time at last. Have eyeing the software some time, but never seemed to have time to do it.
Well the transfer is now done, but as you might see I’m not 1005 there yet. Although transfer of posts and pictures to new blog and database worked ok, all the links to pictures where destroyed somehow. Now I have to go and fix every post by hand. 10% done, 90% to go. Won’t seem to run out of things to do this spring.

Even though there is plenty of snow the sun is shinning more and more. Life might prevail after all.

Old pictures from last autumn what I finally managed the scan. Starting to take quite long time from picture taking to scanning. Family life takes its toll on hobbies.
Winter really came to Helsinki this time, plenty of snow and white landscapes.
Almost three months from my last update. Long time have to say, but have had my hands full this time with family life. Almost gave new years resolution to take more pictures and check them through immediately, but came to my senses. Would have had to break that one already.

Days are getting shorter and sun doesn’t climb enough high so it would shine into the park between buildings in the evening. Also the light is getting harder and colder, preparing us for the winter.
Nice autumn light, I wish I could enjoy more of it during the day time.

Annankatu in Punavuori.
So my Punavuori project still continues, but really slowly. Started in June and this is only the third picture of streets here. Well at least this project hasn’t said “plonk” and disappeared yet.

Last Sunday might have been the last warm day of the autumn and luckily we got invited to picnic. Had to drag few kites there as I haven’t had a change to fly any of those for a year or two.
